Feliile de paine, de preferat mai tari (paine mai veche), se inmoaie in lapte, in care am dizolvat zaharul si esenta de vanilie. Se dau prin ou batut cu putina apa. Se prajesc cate 3 felii de paine in cate 2 linguri de unt. Se servesc ca atare sau cu zahar deasupra.
